On that point I forgot to mention that one thing which has been a real bonus is that the leather is seeming to turn out rugged enough to cope with the cats, which is fantastic as I had resigned myself to the thought that the sofas would get wrecked by them.
I wanted leather so I can wipe it down of dander. My other half is allergic to the cats so even if a fabric sofa would have resisted scratches better it would not be as cleanable. As it is the leather seems quite resilient and easy to clean to boot. Pleased all round!"
